Dr. Weitz is a licensed health service provider (clinical psychologist) and licensed massage therapist, completing his doctorate in natural medicine at the University of Natural Medicine, Santa Fe, New Mexico. He received his Ph.D. from State University of New York at Albany. He worked as the director of counseling psychology at George Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. He also was the chief psychologist at special Needs Facility, a prison located in Nashville, Tennessee. Presently he works as the clinical director of the Natural Health Clinic, a program located in Cumenins Station, Suite 212. This program, staffed by physicians, psychologists, nurses, massage and physical therapists, is geared to assist people to prevent disease, reduce pain and eliminate suffering. The staff use conventional and natural therapies that work best for each patient. Dr. Weitz also lectures throughout the US on alternative medicine topics and has a private practice in mind body psychology. He uses massage and body work to work with pain management and the full range of psychological problems.
